Kutna Hora
As suggested by its name, history of Kutna Hora is tied with mining
of silver (Kutat is Czech word for mining). Thanks to its mineral
resources Kutna Hora was one of the most important and wealthiest
city in Europe, which had impact on local architecture – preserved
historical centre with townhouses and gothic dominants, such as
church of St. Barbara or church of Ascension of Virgin Mary in
Sedlec, which represented wealth of the city. In year 1995, namely
thanks to its historical centre and other monument, Kutna Hora was
included in List of world cultural and natural heritage UNESCO and
is very popular by tourists from all over the world.
Modern Kutna Hora offer full amenities – plenty of nursery schools,
schools, supermarkets and restaurants, hospital and doctors and
places of cultural and sport activities and all common points of
interest that you will need for your satisfied life. All of these
points are within 10-30 minute walk from Tresnovka project.
